Terms of Service
In effect from
These are the terms on which you use Bricks2Sets, and we have tried to write them in plain language, because terms you cannot read are not terms you have agreed to.

What Bricks2Sets does
Bricks2Sets helps a family sort a pile of LEGO® bricks toward the sets they want to build. You add the sets you are working on; everyone in your group counts parts on their own device; the counts stay in sync live for everyone.
We are not affiliated with the LEGO Group. Set and part information comes from Rebrickable.
What we do not promise: that the catalogue is complete or perfect, that every set you want is listed, or that the service is available without interruption. We will try, but this is a small product and we are not going to promise you five nines.
What you need to use it
Bricks2Sets runs in your web browser. There is no app to install.
- A device with an up-to-date web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge all work. It runs on phones, tablets and computers, and it is designed to be used on a phone while you are sorting.
- JavaScript must be enabled. The app will not run without it.
- An internet connection. Counts sync live between everyone in your group, so Bricks2Sets needs to be online to work. There is no offline mode, and nothing you count while disconnected will be saved.
- An email address, to create your account.
We do not limit how many devices you sign in from, and there is no copy protection or other technical restriction on your use of the service.
If your subscription ends, your group is locked rather than deleted. Nobody can add sets or change counts, but nothing is thrown away and everything is waiting if you subscribe again. Deleting your account is a separate thing, and is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your account
You must be 18 or over to create an account and to buy a subscription. Bricks2Sets is built for families and children are very welcome to use it — but the account and the subscription belong to an adult, and children take part through a group that an adult owns and on that adult's signed-in device. We do not offer accounts to under-18s.
You are responsible for your account and for everything done under it — including anything done by someone else using your signed-in device. Choose a real password, or use a passkey. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.
One person, one account. Do not share sign-in details with people outside your household — use a group invite instead, which is what groups are for.
If you own a group, you are responsible for the people in it. Before you add someone — especially a child — tell them what the app records, and in particular that the activity feed shows the whole group who counted what and when.
Groups
A group is a shared workspace. Whoever creates it owns it and can invite others, remove members, and manage the subscription.
Everyone in a group can see everything in it — the sets, the counts, and the activity feed showing who counted which part and when. Only invite people you are happy sharing that with.
If you own a group, you are responsible for the people you add to it, including telling children in your household what the app records.
What it costs
Bricks2Sets costs €4 per month or €29 per year. Prices include VAT.
One subscription covers your whole group. That is true however many people are in it.
The free trial
New groups get 7 days free. We do not ask for a card to start the trial. If you do nothing when the trial ends, the group is simply locked — you are not charged, and your data is not deleted.
One free trial per person, ever. Creating a second group does not start a second trial, and neither does deleting your account and signing up again with the same email address.
How payment works
Payment is taken by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), which acts as our merchant of record and authorised reseller. This means Polar is the seller for the payment itself, handles VAT, and issues your receipt. Polar's Buyer Terms apply to that transaction alongside these terms. We never see your card details.
Renewals and cancelling
Your subscription renews automatically — monthly on a monthly plan, yearly on a yearly plan — at the price above, until you cancel. We will show you the renewal date in the app.
You can cancel at any time, from Settings, which takes you to Polar's customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for a period you have already started, except where the law says otherwise — which includes the 14-day right of withdrawal below.
If a payment fails, we will give you a short grace period before the group is locked. Locking does not delete anything: your sets and your counts are waiting when you come back.
Changing your mind — your 14-day right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days, without giving any reason.
The 14 days run from the day the contract is concluded.
This right applies even if you have already started using Bricks2Sets. Bricks2Sets is a digital service, not a fixed piece of digital content, and the exception that lets some digital purchases waive the cooling-off period does not apply to services like ours.
To withdraw, just tell us — an email to bricks2sets@nordicmythos.com saying you want to withdraw is enough. You can use the model form below, but you do not have to. Sending it before the 14 days are up is enough; it does not have to reach us in time.
What happens then: we will refund what you paid within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method you used. Because you asked us to start the service straight away, we may keep an amount in proportion to what you have already used — calculated by the number of days you had access, out of the period you paid for. On the 7-day free trial, where you have paid nothing, there is nothing to keep.
A practical note. In almost every case the free trial makes this simple: cancel during the trial and nothing has been charged at all.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.

Your content, and our software
Your data is yours. The sets you track, the counts you make, the names you give things — those belong to you and your group. We store and display them so the service works, and we do not use them for anything else.
Our software is ours. These terms give you permission to use Bricks2Sets, not to copy it, resell it, take it apart, or build a competing service out of it.
The catalogue is Rebrickable's. Set and part data and images come from Rebrickable and remain subject to their terms.
Fair use
Please do not:
- try to break, overload or probe the service
- use it to store anything unlawful, or anything that is not about sorting bricks
- resell access, or share one subscription across unrelated households
- scrape the catalogue through us rather than going to Rebrickable directly
- impersonate anyone, or invite people to a group under false pretences
If you do, we may suspend or close the account. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and explain why. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part.
If something goes wrong
We provide Bricks2Sets with reasonable care and skill. If the service is faulty, you have legal rights under Finnish consumer law, and nothing in these terms takes those away or limits them. Those rights sit alongside anything written here.
Beyond your statutory rights, and to the extent Finnish law allows us to say so: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. None of this limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Bricks2Sets is a tool for organising bricks. Please do not rely on it for anything where being wrong would matter.
Complaints and disputes
Talk to us first. Email bricks2sets@nordicmythos.com. We aim to respond within five business days and to resolve things properly.
If we cannot sort it out between us, and you are a consumer in Finland, you can take the matter to:
- Consumer Advisory Service (kuluttajaneuvonta) — free advice and mediation, via the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV): kkv.fi (opens in a new tab)
- Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta): kuluttajariita.fi (opens in a new tab)
These terms are governed by Finnish law. As a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can always bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
Ending the contract
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing us if you would rather ask a person. Deleting your account cancels your subscription. What happens to your data — and to a group you were part of — is set out in our Privacy Policy.
We may end this contract by giving you 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously break these terms. If we end it without you being at fault, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
If we ever shut Bricks2Sets down, we will give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data before it goes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not want to accept it, cancel before it starts and we will refund the unused part of your current period. Small corrections we will just make.
The small print
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, plus the Privacy Policy and Polar's Buyer Terms for the payment itself, are the whole agreement between us.
